The Beginning of Our Journey

Our journey began in 1961, when Mr. Sheikh Munir Ahmad started selling quality fabrics door-to-door. Travelling by bicycle, he brought carefully selected fabrics from India to offer customers distinctive choices.

Through dedication, honesty, and a strong commitment to quality, he gradually built a trusted customer base. His passion for fabrics and respect for customers became the foundation of our family business.

Our First Physical Shop - Munir Cloth House

During the time of war in 1965, our family moved from Jallo More to Saddar Cantt.

There, we established our first physical shop. This marked an important transition from door-to-door selling to a proper retail experience where customers could visit, explore, and purchase a wider variety of fabrics under one roof.

This milestone played an important role in the continued growth of our family trading business.

Growth & Expansion

After the war in 1971, we moved from Saddar Cantt to Mughalpura Link Road.

Our grandfather continued the business through a partnership and expanded the product range. Along with quality fabrics, the business began offering footwear and various fashion-related products.

This diversification strengthened our understanding of fashion, retail, quality, and the evolving needs of our valued customers.

Shan Cloth House Was Born

In 1983, the business officially began operating under the name “Shan Fabrics and Fashions.”

The name represented our growing vision of combining quality fabrics with modern fashion and lifestyle products. Over the years, we continued building strong relationships with our customers through trust, quality, and consistent service.

Today, Shan Fabrics and Fashions carries more than six decades of experience, dedication, and family heritage.

From a bicycle and door-to-door fabric sales in 1961 to an established name in fabrics and fashion, our journey has evolved with time.
